Mr. Bassoe is the principal of Bassoe Offshore AS and has more than 30 years of experience in the offshore oil services industry.
He has initiated, developed, financed and executed nine rig owning companies and two services companies within rig market data analysis and engineering. Over the past 15 years, these companies have contracted to build 24 offshore jackups andfloater rigs, as well as undertaken numerous rig sale and purchase transactions.
Mr. Bassoe holds a B.Sc. in Business and Public Administration from New York University.
Hans Hagelberg has more than 30 years of experience from the offshore industry working at Bassoe Offshore in Houston and London.
Prior to Bassoe Offshore he worked in different managerial positions at GVA shipyard and as an industry consultant.
He holds a degree in Civil Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology and is a Swedish citizen residing in London.
Teresa joined ODS-Petrodata during 2011 (which was later acquired by IHS Markit) and remained with the company for over five years. During her time there she worked initially as a rig market analyst before moving over to the field development team and managing the subsea and construction vessel database and relating products. In 2016, she joined RigZone as a senior rig market analyst, responsible for tracking offshore rigs in the European and African markets for the company’s RigLogix database. She moved to Westwood Global Energy during 2018 as part of an acquisition but remained in her same role. Teresa’s educational background is in journalism with a BA Hons degree from the Robert Gordons University in Aberdeen.
Barry has over 30 years’ experience in offshore industry working in Sales and Account Management. Having joined ODS-Petrodata in 1990 as a Sales Assistant, Barry became an Account Manager in 1993 and Senior Account Manager in 1998 being responsible for managing new business and renewals in EMEA and Asia. After ODS-Petrodata was sold to IHS in 2011, he was Senior Account Manager responsible for the management of large accounts in EMEA.
Barry joined Bassoe Analytics in January 2020 as Head of Sales and Marketing. He has a HND diploma in Computing Science from Aberdeen Information Technology Centre.
